We had an absolutely incredible experience at Landry’s, and it was all thanks to our server, Josh. From the moment we sat down, he was attentive, personable, and genuinely invested in making sure our night was perfect. His recommendations were spot-on—every dish we ordered was phenomenal, and you could tell he really knew the menu inside and out.
Josh has that rare ability to anticipate what you need before you even ask. Drinks were always full, timing was flawless, and he checked in just the right amount without ever being intrusive. It honestly felt like we were getting five-star service in every sense of the word.
The food itself was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection—but what truly elevated the entire experience was Josh’s level of care and professionalism. It’s not often you come across service that exceeds expectations like this, but he absolutely delivered.
Huge credit as well to the manager, J, for clearly fostering such a high standard. It shows in every detail.
If you’re dining at Landry’s, ask for Josh—you won’t just have a meal, you’ll have an experience. This was hands-down some of the best service we’ve ever had.

We recently visited Landry’s Seafood House, and overall it was a mixed experience.
We ordered the fried calamari, seafood pasta, cheesecake, and I had a Chardonnay. Unfortunately, the food itself was not great and did not really stand out. However, the cheesecake was delicious and definitely the highlight of the meal. The Chardonnay was also very good.
What truly made the experience memorable was our server, Destiny. She was exceptional, attentive, friendly, and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. Her service honestly made up for a lot.
Great service, great dessert, and a very good glass of wine, but the food could definitely be improved.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!🚨
Had been to this location many times in past years for birthdays or celebrations but never had an awful experience like this one. We were greeted by an unfriendly hostess and told it would be a 10 minute wait, after 45 minutes in a fairly empty restaurant we were finally sat and greeted. All the servers seemed fairly new and not comfortable in their positions. The drinks we had were probably the best part of the experience but had to wait over an hour for our food which all came out luke warm, and the pasta I had ordered was extremely oily and not what I was expecting. I even asked our server if it is normally that bad and she said yes but had no desire to fix the situation.
Better off finding another higher quality restaurant in downtown.

Went to this restaurant after looking at reviews. Arrived with reservations. Arrived late and apologized for my tardiness. We were seated and given 3 menus mind there were four in my party. One waitress appeared frazzled and was explaining to the other patrons they were short staffed. Understand this situation however I’m observing the manager standing to the side observing this frazzled young lady. Meanwhile a party of 4 arrived after we were seated and two waitresses one in training proceeded to approach them and explain they would be taking there orders. We asked for manager he comes over and stated our would be taken we the frazzled young lady would finish with the other tables she was taking care of. Now I’m thinking ok so he’s going to help her offer water just to appease us. Nothing he just gives us eye for eye . Needless to say we left. So look out for the short manager with glasses this night he had on a white sweater vest!! Poor manager he just watching the young lady fail. He needs to check himself… Landry’s needs to ask why this occurred!!!!!!!!

Went here after visiting the aquarium for dinner bad ideal. I was seated quickly but service was horrible. Waitress took so long to greet us we had to flag her down. Placed our drink order she did bring those back quickly. So at that time we began to order our food. We started with 2 appetizers which came moderately 15 minutes later. However our main course never came. I had to flag down the waitress one again to ask how long until our food would arrive she had no clue. (We waited over an hour) I then proceeded to tell her just give us the check we don’t want the food and will just pay for the appetizers we had. She proceeded to say ok I’ll have my manager correct your bill. Not once did the manager on duty come over to address the issue or ask if he could assist in any way. We paid for our drinks and appetizers and left. As I was leaving I stopped by the hostess station and explained my frustration to him and he proceeded to say you didn’t speak to the manager let me get him. Mind you the manager was standing in the bar area the entire time but not one time came over to our table to speak with us. When the manager approached me and I explained the situation all he could say was ohh I’m sorry and walked away. Very poor customer service. No empathy no concern no nothing. Needless to say I won’t ever come to this establishment again and I was visiting from out of town!!!!!
