Love this place! Quality food made with fresh ingredients from a menu that goes beyond cookie-cutter offerings. We have enjoyed the salad sandwich, the incredible soups, the cocktails, and of course the ice cream creations.

Had the Choutou Ceasar and the Ham and Fig Grilled Cheese. The dressing on the ceasar was absolutely amazing. One of the best homemade Ceasar dressing I've had. It was ruined by cheap croutons so stale that they sort of compacted into themselves rather than crunched. Ham and Fig was okay. I expected better based on the price of the food, but this was tasty but anemic, lacking in weight. Which is a shame from a restaurant sporting the states best grilled cheese. This grilled cheese wasn't even melted by the time it reached me. Combined with the loud atmosphere and the unbearable hot temperature of the entire restaurant, that not even my luke warm drink could save me from. I wouldn't choose to come here again. Edit: My parted opted for dessert. I was given a melted scoop of ice cream. I knocked off that 2nd star because for a place "known" for ice cream... what the heck?

I went to The Fountain for my daughter's 4th birthday and it was amazing. Our server was great, the bar staff was super friendly, and they even let my kids watch them make ice cream sundaes behind the bar. It was a really fun night and one we'll always remember.

Very disappointed. Food was under cooked and made me and our family sick. I had heard their milkshakes were really good. They were just like any shake you get at a drive through but Very expensive. Very disappointed will not recommend this place to anyone.

We stopped by The Fountain on Locust and had a really lovely experience. The ice cream is absolutely the star, but what surprised us was how well the savory dishes set it up. The dill soup was outstanding — rich, comforting, and genuinely flavorful. We shared the roast beef sandwich and the Fountain Cuban, both satisfying and well-balanced, making it easy to save room for dessert. For sweets, we ordered the PB sundae special and the Fruit Loop-tini — fun, indulgent, and executed with care. Playful without feeling gimmicky, and honestly just delicious. The space is charming and nostalgic, and the service was especially friendly and welcoming. It’s the kind of place that feels celebratory without being stuffy.
