Ramsay’s Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay looks upscale, but the food didn’t match the price.
Ribs were mostly fat and bone (1/10). Steak arrived undercooked and overly salty (2/10). Caesar salad was drowning in salty dressing. Fries were the best part of the plate — and they were still burnt (3.5/10). Mac & cheese was the only standout (10/10).
Drinks were just as disappointing — strawberry tequila lemon drops tasted like melted smoothies with barely any alcohol, and the grapefruit tequila cocktail was awful (1/10).
Bill was $270 and absolutely not worth it in any way.
Come for the mac & cheese… or keep driving.

Dinner time. Finally was able to make it. Worth the wait too. The staff was great, the food was delicious and the drinks were tasty. We ordered the truffle fries for an app, the wife ordered the Lamb Ragu (menu item specific to this location) and I ordered the Beef Wellington. The welly was like butter it was so tender. The main course was very quick to arrive. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate mouse. Expect to pay higher prices and smaller portions going into this place. No one should be docking stars because of this as you should know this prior going to an establishment like this. Yes, there is a requested dress code but it was def not followed by quite a few, maybe hotel guests?! We chose to valet for $15 which is well worth it. With four drinks, the total was $230ish which included the valet and around a hour and forty-five minute visit.

I dined here Thursday 02/05/26 for lunch and I’m only leaving one star because my server and the hostesses were very nice and pleasant. But the food was awful! The plating is great and it looked pretty but the quality of ingredients they source, the seasoning, and textures is bad. The tuna tartare definitely doesn’t have the right grade tuna (which is a serious health hazard by the way). You cannot just cut up regular raw tuna, it has to be sushi grade tuna.
I was in a hurry and so hungry that I just suffered through it. I ate half of each dish and did not complain. But for this to be a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, totally unacceptable! This is located inside of The Four Seasons so I was excited. I hadn’t dined here since 2014 when it used to be Cielo. And although the renovation looks much better compared to the old restaurant, I prefer the food from the previous concept over whatever garbage they’re serving here now. The wine was the only thing that was just OK.

The restaurant was gorgeous and there were plenty of areas to take photos. I was celebrating my birthday so a good photo op was important to me. The outside rooftop had a gorgeous view of downtown St. Louis and the Arch.
I ordered the blackened red fish with grits. The presentation was nice. I would rate the overall dish 8/10. I’m not sure if the grits were supposed to be room temp, but they were a little cold.
I received a complimentary birthday desert, which was a chocolate gooey butter cake. I’m not a big fan of chocolate but this was an absolute 10/10!
The service was decent. I had a party of 7 and we were seated fairly quickly after checking into our reservation. The server was nice and educated us on the signature dishes. There were some moments where we were waiting a little while for her to check on us, but overall she was exceptional. When our food arrived, there were a few mix-ups with who ordered which item. I would rate the service 7.5/10.
My overall experience 8/10. I would definitely revisit!

Beautiful clean restaurant with a great view of the arch. Everyone was professional , kind & accommodating. They went above & beyond as we requested to be moved for a better view & asked several questions regarding our meals. Service was impeccable & the food was by far some of the best we've ever eaten. Mom & I had a very nice time. Will definitely go again if in the area. Highly recommend Ramsey's, especially if you're looking for a place to take a date or celebrate a special occasion. I know exactly whom I'm bringing next time as he'd appreciate the atmosphere & would devour the beef wellington. One thing you really want to think about is parking. The restaurant's in the same building as the Four Seasons so you can pull right up to the hotel & use the valet. If memory serves me I think it was $38 or $48 + tax & tip or you can park yourself for free. I choose to park myself because I don't like strangers driving my vehicles but later wished we'd used valet because it turned out to be a lot more walking than we thought it would be. We also drove the area 2-3xs because we couldn't find the parking garage entrance. Don't quote me but I think it was on the north side of the building. Once parked you'll have a fairly long walk. You'll need to go past a casino & much further to the hotel. You'll see an elevator WAY before the Four Seasons greetings desk but DON'T STOP, you'll need to keep going until you enter the actual hotel..The folks at the desk can help you find the restaurant or you can walk past them to the elevators around the corner & go upto the 8th floor.
If you enjoy walking, park yourself & save $50 too. If you want to get to the restaurant the quickest & easiest way I'd most definitely recommend valet. Pull right into the hotels entrance, head for the desk or the elevators taking you to the 8th floor.
Really enjoyed our dinner , again highly recommend. 5*s across the board from us. Had the Chicken & Pork Chop entrees with brussel sprouts & cauliflower. Shout out to the staff & chefs for some of the best meals we've ever had. Also to the folks working at the Four Seasons , we'd have been lost without them. 😉
