If you’re in a hurry, look elsewhere. We sat at the bar and ordered a few dishes and two drinks off of the happy hour menu. We eventually said “I think they forgot about us” before the food came out. The food itself was really good. Then after we were fully done, plates pushed away from us, drinks empty, we sat for close to 15 minutes before we had to flag someone down and ask for the check. All this happened while there were four other people at the bar and three booths that the bar was taking care of. The Bloody Mary was banging though.

Our family went in on a Sunday around 430 pm. We were blown off by the hostess (who had three other employees with her, all doing nothing). We were told it was an hour wait, with an empty restaurant, but they were actively seating folks of color right away with no reservations. We felt discriminated against, with all 4 members of the family experiencing the weirdness and coming to the same conclusion. We went to the soda fountain next door and the server asked about our experience at Landrys and was told ‘sounds about right.’ While we were all excited to try Landrys for the first time, we absolutely will be boycotting this business and spreading the word.

The food was excellent and arrived promptly, which we truly appreciated. Josh provided exceptional service from start to finish—he was attentive, professional, and made sure everything was taken care of without ever feeling intrusive. The ambiance was relaxed and welcoming, creating a comfortable atmosphere to enjoy the meal and conversation. Having the restaurant located in Union Station added a unique and enjoyable touch to the experience. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would absolutely recommend it to others.

We dined at Landry’s at Union Station with reservations for a party of six and were very disappointed, especially given the upscale atmosphere and high prices. It took over an hour and a half for our food to arrive, and our drinks weren’t served until after the meal was already on the table. To be fair, our server was attentive and not at fault. The delays clearly stemmed from the bar and the kitchen. While most of the food was good, one dish arrived very cold and completely lacking flavor. For a restaurant of this caliber and cost, the service and execution fell far below expectations.

We were given a gift certificate to Landry’s Seafood House in St. Louis, MO. We arrived around 5pm and was told they would not be able to seat us until 8pm. We decided to sit at the bar. The staff was busy and tried not to establish eye contact. After 20 mins the bar tender asked what we wanted to drink. We ordered a beer and a lavender spritzer. Can’t go wrong with a beer, but Lavender Spritzer was nothing to write home about. It took another 20 minutes to get the bar tender’s attention to request to place an order for food and another 20 minutes for him to stop long enough to take our order. The bar tender did say the kitchen was really busy. Well after an additional hour we were about to pay for our drinks and leave, then our food arrived. We ordered 2 Coconut Shrimp. Crawfish bruschetta, crab artichoke dip, mini crab cakes, buffalo chicken sliders. Coconut Shrimp was really good and cooked to perfection. Crab cakes were okay, their sizing was inconsistent and bland, buffalo chicken slider were awful and dry. The crab artichoke and cheese dip was loaded with so much cheese the other ingredients could only be identified by their texture. Crawfish bruschetta’ bread was soggy and crawfish bland. We did not take any to go container and realized we never got the glasses of water we requested. Will not be back!!!
