Josh is now the server I will compare all other servers to -- I can't say enough about his enthusiasm, people skills, and knowledge. He guided our group to fantastic apps, meals, and drinks. The food was delicious -- oysters and fish were fresh and the toppings and add-ons enhanced the meal. Pictured are the cedar plank salmon and the salmon with the Crescent City topping. It was decadent and indulgent and I'd eat here every week if I could! The restaurant is easy to access from either Union Station or the streetside.

The servers are friendly, attentive, and reliable every single time we visit. However, my experience with the hostess last night was very disappointing. The young lady with the hair wrap was unexpectedly rude for no reason, and it really threw off the start of our evening. I don’t understand how someone working in customer service can come in with such a negative attitude. It’s frustrating, especially when she’s the first person guests interact with. I still love this restaurant, but I hope management addresses this, because the rest of the team does such a great job and deserves better representation at the front door.

The drinks had her own flare to it and were the best I’ve been had!!!!! If I was managing this place I’d promote her to owner.

I had the iceberg wedge salad with a very tasty, clearly homemade, bleu cheese dressing. Followed that up with the blackened redfish etoufee. Here, the fish filet was cooked well but the blackened seasoning didn’t carry as much flavor as I expected. The broccoli could have used about 30 more seconds in the steamer. The dirty rice, however, was flavorful and perfectly done. Prices here were quite reasonable for the quality. Lastly, the environment around the restaurant on a beautiful fall day was awesome, koi pond and all!
