It would have been five stars but: Employee taking the order was touching the cash register with gloves on, and then she was resting her hands on the surrounding cashier area with palms down. She rattled off something very very fast in a fake-friendly manner that sounded like mumbling. She goes back to happy vibes and chitchat with the staff, without fake-like vibes. With the same gloves on she goes and removes fresh pink patties and places them on the grill as she's continously chatting away. I told her she should not be touching the food with the same gloves on. She changed her gloves but the damage was already done as the patties continued to sizzle on the grill. So I went outside and observed her some more. Again, this same person kept pushing her hair back with the new gloves on, and carrying out her task by adding toppings without missing a beat in her continued cool-chat. She repeated this hair touching like four more times with the same gloves. I went inside and asked a nearby male worker for the manager. He points at the same girl that touched all of the above with gloves on and says, that's her. I asked if there was another manager. By now the manager girl vanished into the back. A new girl stood there to hear me tell her that their manager, she's been touching everything with gloves on. This girl now, in her manager's defense said to me: right, she changed her gloves after you told her. I clarified that the manager girl touched her hair like four times after changing her gloves. I also told her to go check their security camera, she shouldn't be contaminating the food by touching her hair. She admitted that she believed me and asked if I wanted a new burger. I said yes. By now the manager girl came back into the cooking area with her hair tied back. The redo burger seemed to have come off the grill much faster by the second girl, and it definitely came off the grill without proper cooking time. It was barely warm. Five Guys, get your staff in check. The customers are paying good money for quality services and proper work etiquette. Ty.
