We’re all about the tacos, tequila + margaritas here at Condado Ballpark Village, but the main attraction is our build-your-own tacos! Choices range from toppings + proteins, to shells + sauces. We pride ourselves on having fresh ingredients made every single day and — unlike other joints — tacos made your way.
We got there, ordered through our server (who was helpful, and took our drink order), and then had one of the waitstaff interrupted him taking our order and proceeded to have an argument with him in front of the table we were sitting in for around 30-45 seconds while we sat there awkwardly. He tried to cover for them by saying his shift was over and was covering the section temporarily, but he was actually there working for the whole meal. They gave our table to a different server who then undid our drink order saying it was not allowed on a game day after we saw another table just finish the drinks we were trying to order.
Inattentive service, and the food was cold, and none of it came out at the same time. Altogether, not worth it, and the argument they had really set a bad tone for the meal.

The food is good, the atmosphere is mediocre, and the service is SLOW! I used to go here a lot when they opened for takeout because I work across the street, but service steadily declined. After numerous times being told “10 minutes” over the phone then getting there and waiting up front for 30 min to an hour, I’ve decided to call my hunger efforts quit with them. Would love to see a strong leader step in and train a brand new, competent, customer-centric team.

I am a nice guy, but this was a poor experience. The staff were so so so busy and working very hard but we had a reservation and proceeded to wait 20 mins to be seated. Then waited another 45 mins to just get our food order in. Waitress was very rude when we simply asked who our waitress even was since no one had stopped by. She responded, “I don’t know, if you can’t tell we’re pretty busy” while rolling her eyes. Very very unprofessional. I know they were busy but there’s no need to be rude to the customer. I’m sure it was a management issue leaving them way way understaffed but they shouldn’t be taking more customers if they’re going to be treating them in that fashion. Food wasn’t spectacular and I would maybe give them a second chance on a less busy weekend.

Ok so let’s take this from the top. The gentleman with big poofy brown hair that greeted us and seated us and served us was working his hardest. I want to start with that because he was literally hung out to dry… Upon arrival he seamed unsure if he could handle a 6 top. After talking to his “manager” he seated us and started taking orders. It was EXCEPTIONALLY clear that he needed more training on the POS system because he was clearly learning. He continually had to leave our table to ask an associate and or manager what he needed to do. No harm, no foul… we were patient and we encouraged him. After taking main orders apparently our order was “lost”. My sister spoke to the manager whom had zero desire to help at all. Our server was tasked with serving at least 4 other tables while the manager sat and was on her phone showing zero desire to actually work. Half our order was never delivered…. We had to go to the bar to get our own drinks and utensils. We finally asked our server to speak to the “manager”… she instantly approached our table with attitude and did absolutely nothing to try and diffuse and or rectify the situation. And this was after we heard her yelling at our server over our complaint. Let’s just say it ended and a crap show and we were kicked out and threatened with police action.

It seems that Condado (at Ballpark Village, at least) is not able to manage its own success. I have been here when things were slow and had no complaints but lately the crowds have been unmanageable and the quality suffers because of it. On 4 occasions now I've ordered food through the app (which always gives a 10 minute wait time) and I've had to wait an hour for my food, standing at the front of the restaurant. On one of those occasions, the order was completely wrong. Probably they put the wrong burrito in. On another, I eventually asked them to check again for my order which they immediately brought out. The taco shell was soggy so this thing had been sitting around for some time waiting to be picked up. I've heard the place is understaffed which adds up. Please help your staff out by hiring some more employees, they're always working as hard as they can whenever I see them. Or at least create a way to give accurate wait times when ordering online.
