Instead, it’s just layered, which unfortunately doesn’t have the same appeal or value. I was disappointed, as the chopped option used to be one of the main reasons I ordered salads there. Additionally, while the employee preparing my food was wearing gloves, I couldn’t help but notice a significant amount of dirt under her fingernails, which was very visible through the gloves. That made the overall experience less appetizing. I’ve always appreciated Subway’s fresh and customizable options, but between the change in the salads and the food-safety concern, I don’t feel the experience is worth it anymore.
