  It was last minute late night food run. I've always enjoyed the seasoned fries at "Checkers"!!! I worked at the first Checkers that opened in Nashville, TN in the late 80's!! Which leads me to a question, if they're already seasoned coming out of the bag, why are you adding more salt to them afterwards!?! I requested no salt, once I was told that they were going to drop some new fries for my order. Oh my they were so good!!! The new revised menu is soooooo much better. It was long over due!!

  The food is always great but I really do not like the AI drive-thru. I'd rather talk to a real person

  03/25/2026 at approximately 4:20 pm, me (18) and others (14 and younger) walked to rallys and were expecting good customer service until we showed up to the building. I let my younger family members order their food and sat down, and when i went to go check up on them, they told me something I wasnt expecting to hear. My little brother went up to the window and rested his arms on the metal shelf. Chris (Our server) opened the window and pushed his hands off of the metal plate. He took their order while saying “Hurry up, I don’t have all day, what do you want?” Then one of the younger ones looked at the others and was taken aback by how he was treated. Chris then shut the window on them. I noticed something was off so I walked up there and asked them if they needed me to pay for their order. They said no but then explained to me what had happened. At first, I was taken aback by it as well and almost didnt believe it. Until I met with him myself. He opened the window and I asked the kids to go sit down on one of the benches they have sitting outside. I put in my order and he told me the price which was well over what i was supposed to pay for. My meal was a frylovers burger with a medium fry and a medium Mr Pibb but the kids hadnt paid for their meal yet so my meal was $20. At first, I looked at the menu and said “$20 for a medium meal?” and Chris responded with “Well I just said I was working on their order still” referring to the younger boys. I said “Okay, Ill just pay for it all together then.” He stared at me and said “You still need to pay.” While I was holding my phone out to do tap to pay. After he snatched my phone out of my hands, I asked him to get his manager. He said “Yeah, sure. Whats up, I’m the manager.” I looked at Chris and said “I dont believe that.” He laughed and walked away. A few moments later, Janice came outside and I explained what happened and she apologized and gave me half off for my order. While I did not have the most satisfactory experience with Chris, Janice was nice enough to turn my experience around just a bit. Probably won’t be back though.
