Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Customers generally praised the food as delicious, with specific mentions of burgers and fries being highlights, though some reported issues with cold or incorrect orders.
Service Speed
Many reviews noted slow service, particularly in the drive-thru, with long wait times reported even when the restaurant was not busy.

Order Accuracy
A significant number of customers experienced issues with incorrect orders, leading to frustration and disappointment.
Staff Attitude

The ice cream machine wasn't working but they wouldn't let me get my money back via Uber eats. They also forgot the lettuce on my burger. Freddy's is a better choice if you want this type of food.

Ordered #2 extra well done. It wasn't. Matter of fact wasn't even grill hot, luke warm would be a decent description.

Best way to describe: the employees are in the back talking/playing around and drinking from their sippy cups. Tables/floors were dirty. Food was put together by (I assume) a child. There was an older blond lady that seemed to be the only one who cared about working and doing well. She was also very kind to a sickly man who was having a rough day.

Placed an order through the Whataburger app on June 19 and half my food was missing. I called corporate since it was an online order, and they promised to reach out or refund me. Four months later, still nothing. Terrible follow-through and customer service. Worst Whataburger in town, consistently disappointing.
