  This was the perfect place to celebrate! The food and service were both excellent. We appreciated the added plus of a complimentary birthday dessert. The seating was superb for conversation and a sense of privacy .

  My Husband and I go to Jimms often, we make a hour and a half drive just for it! This is our celebration spot, starting since 2024 we went for our first anniversary and our engagement celebration! Every time we are always extremely pleased with our experience! Every server and staff member is amazing! We made a reservation for Valentine’s Day and even with them being busy, everyone was in bright spirits! Tonight we had Amara and she was kind, prompt, and gave great recommendations! The Prime Rib is my favorite, we tried the Brulee’d cheese cake and it was fantastic! I honestly recommend this restaurant to everyone when I talk about it and my husband and I look forward to the next time we get to go!

  Everything was good but when I left a tip on my credit card my waitress comes around before we were bout to leave and asks if everything was good and if she did anything wrong. We told her she did fine and she was still like did I do something wrong. What a slap in the face for I’ve never had a waitress plead to get more of a tip. Little did she know that we were going to leave her more on the table but not after that. She’s lucky we gave her anything after that kind of attitude.

  Overall the food and service was excellent with the exception of my husbands prime rib he ordered it medium rare and it came out well and tough. It was disappointing for him. I ordered a filet mignon medium rare with veggies that was perfectly cooked. We will try it again but my husband probably won't be back for prime rib.

  I've eaten at Jimm's about a dozen times now and I thought it's time I write a review of the place. First, the obvious. I've never ever come close to a bad meal here. The food has always been excellent. Yet, that's not the only thing that keeps me coming back again and again. It's the professionalism of everyone in the place and you can see the results of outstanding training. In fact it's fun to watch, it isn't how they just serve us, but also everyone else in the place. The restaurant reminds me of the places my parents would take me where you could see the pride the owner took in the place. While everyone seems to be trying to be just good enough, especially in Springfield, I've never had that feeling at Jimm's. It was always the sense of, "how can we make it better?" I'm fairly brutal about restaurants that don't care about their customers and sadly that's a big part of restaurant culture in Springfield where everything comes from a can or a frozen box and I hate writing those reviews, but Jimm's is at the complete opposite end. It's the one restaurant where I take my friends who visit from Seattle, LA or New York and even they leave impressed. Thank you to everyone who works there. You're the best at what you do and I do notice.
