  Ordered a lactose free ice cream cake online on 2/8 then I got a voicemail on 2/11 that they are unable to do the lactose free, asked if I would like to pick another flavor otherwise I would have to come in store to get a refund for my online order. Called spoke with the owner and he said unfortunately that’s their policy so I’m already frustrated but I make the extra trip to go get the refund since I had to order a cake elsewhere and get to the store and they can’t do the refund because the manager isn’t there. I get told that he’s hardly ever there and the employees need him there more too but they couldn’t tell me when he would be in again. I’ve not only wasted a crap ton of time with this company but also they basically stole from me because I haven’t received a refund for an order they weren’t able to fulfill because they refuse to keep that product on hand. Beyond frustrated at this point

  Closed the doors at 7:56pm. That’s not the correct time to close. Then I go to the drive through and they say that they clean and close the ice cream counter at 7:45. As a business owner this is not how you run operations. You close down at 8 not 15minutrs before so that when it’s close you run out the door. Bubblegum ice cream after my mom died would have made my night but the little girls working here clearly haven’t been taught how closing a store at night works. Customers should be first not your pipe you’ve got to go smoke or the bottle you need a drink of. SMH this is poor management. Sad to see such a great business go in the pooper.

  40 minutes before closing we place an order as staff is pulling out ice cream from display units. She said we can’t get ice cream because they are cleaning the coolers. I said that’s why we were there and here was our order, which was still in the display cooler. The rude employee wanted to stand her ground but luckily the other young lady decided to scoop the ice cream, accept payment, and then continue closing 30min before closing time. I must say/scream to management/ownership, do you not care? In the new world of reviews, listen/improve or close up shop. I have never seen 2.5 star rating and declining. Absolutely Everyone is telling you how to fix it but 🤷‍♂️. Start by responding to these comments like you care, manage and support your team, turn it around.

  Horrible experience with the cake decorator at the Glenstone location. Do not order from this location. Two orders in a row that were horrible and she was rude. If you’ve got a special day planned drive to republic and get your cake. It will look perfect and you won’t be treated badly.

  Brittany is completely rude. She is the cake decorator at the Glenstone location. She hung up on me when trying to order a cake because I stated 7:30 AM is too early to be calling customers. When I returned her call at 10AM she was extremely rude on the phone and when I said there was no reason to be rude she stated she was cancelling my $80 order due to she needed 48 hours. Well I scheduled my pick up on Saturday so she had over 48 hrs and she hung up and I tried to call back several times and no one would answer. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FOR A SPECIAL OCCASION FROM THIS STORE. Brittany is the worst employee I’ve ever come across in my life! And reading all the other reviews I see they treat everyone like this! I’ve filed a corp complaint and waiting for a call back and I’m also personally contacting the owner who thank goodness is friends with friends of mine. This Brittany is psycho!
