My husband and I have enjoyed Einstein’s for years. When we travel we check the area for a cafe. Because we love the bagels, the coffee and the service, we wanted to let others know. First the service, with “Mark” as a leader, our favorite location always provides an exceptional visit. He is kind, friendly, greets individuals (usually by name), exhibits high regard and respect for the employees, he’s helpful (jumps in with taking orders, register work, etc.) when it gets busy. He’s the greatest PR person for the cafe, products, etc. We also want to mention two employees who were exceptional during our most recent visit. “Charles” (I believe Mark called him “Chuck,” was informative, efficient and accurate. He was pleasant, smiled and was friendly. Another individual was “Taylor.” He was also at the register, making specialty drinks, organizing, checking stock, cleaning, etc. He was also friendly and helpful. All the staff were attentive to their job, even when Mark was not present; that’s impressive. Mark seems to have a system, a manner in which the work is to be done, what the customers have grown to expect. He teaches and role models it for his employees, and gets it, all while being respectful and acknowledging their value. The bagels and coffee, excellent. Coffee always hot, bagels fresh and breakfast sandwiches worth the price. We have lots of favorites, but especially love the apple cinnamon, it’s like dessert! We love the product consistency, regardless of which Einstein’s we choose. We’ve visited Einstein’s locations all over Missouri, Colorado, and Champaign,Illinois…love and appreciate the friendliness, welcome feeling, and the food!
