- MGMarisa GriffinSep 24, 20251.0Literal worst Tropical Smoothie in KCMO. I placed an order back in July through the Tropical Smoothie app (delivered via DoorDash). My order was for two chipotle flatbreads with sausage and two smoothies. Both flatbreads came with chicken instead of sausage (I double-checked I ordered with sausage), and only one smoothie was drinkable because the delivery driver dropped the other (not the store’s fault). The real issue is what happened next. I tried to resolve it: • DoorDash told me to call the store. • I was given the GM’s number, and she promised to call me back after I provided all the order details. She never did. • I called again 2 weeks later, an employee said they’d text the GM — no response. • Called again 2 weeks later, another employee said the same thing — still nothing. So, here we are, months later, with no refund, no resolution, and no effort from this location’s management. I spent $40 and only got about $10 worth of food I could actually enjoy. It’s honestly shocking how little this store cares about customer satisfaction. Tropical Smoothie is supposed to have standards and an image to uphold, but this location clearly doesn’t. Do better.
