  We used to go to Scimeca’s when it was on Independence Avenue many years ago. It was great then, and still great. It’s just across the river off of I-29. I had the Reuben with the most tender corned beef ever. I had to get some meatballs and desserts to take home. My husband’s Italian grandmother used to send us there for their Italian sausage. Worth the trip!

  Love this place! They have a big selection of fresh made sandwiches, the chicken Parm is my favorite so far. They also have a big selection of fresh grocery items like imported Parmesan cheese and their signature sausage and sauces !

  Great experience all the way around starting with the food of course which was excellent as always. Service can’t be beat either.

  Always fantastic! Their Reuben’s are very good if you’re looking for something different than the sausage and meatball dishes that I also recommend. As a nice bonus, you can enjoy some really good flavors with the pasta and olive salad sides. They are super easy to find in Northtown on Swift if you know what you’re looking for and at 16th so not even that far from the river if you’re coming from the south.

  I've had the pleasure of buying my team lunch to go many times and it is always very good. We have also used Scimeca's for catering a customer event and everyone gave great feedback. I've taken my boss here on most of his visits to town and he also really enjoys it. I also enjoy buying their spaghetti sauce and meats at the grocery store near me.
