  I had the chicken fajitas. The food was fresh and tasty, the only thing was it could use a little more seasoning, maybe marinate the chicken longer with more spices. If you go I would recommened asking for some hot salsa to spice up a notch. The guy that greeted me at the door was really nice and welcomining, which is a big plus. Will definitely be back to try some more dishes. Solid mexican joint!

  We ordered takeout but it was excellent! I got the La Special and a Sweet & Sassy taco. We were shocked that they had a lamb burrito which my friend says he's eating in the morning. He ate his Nachos tonight. My son got the Mushroom Swiss Smash Burger and loved it a lot. He mentioned that the fries were really fresh and good. So we'll be back to try something else next time!

  My wife & I stopped at a nearby taqueria on a Saturday evening, but they had closed early. So our Plan B was to try the latest version of LA Taco. Now that the former dining room space on the east end of the restaurant is occupied by the Mexican Store business, there are just a handful of tables & booths plus a medium length bar for seated dining. The dining space was clean & the young lady who was the single server was very professional & attentive. We both enjoyed the complimentary fresh taco chips & salsa. My wife ordered a Taco Combo Meal, choosing one All American Taco (crunchy tortilla) with ground beef and a Puffy Taco also with ground beef. She found the beef over-salted, but otherwise enjoyed the flavors. I ordered the Street Taco Meal (featuring 3 tacos, not 2 as indicated on the menu), and chose one each Chicken Tinga & Steak Pineapple & Barbacoa. The barbacoa was perfectly prepared, while the chicken & the steak were overcooked but still tasty (esp. with a dip of salsa verde). I also liked the side of rice & the refried pintos served in a cup (too watery for my wife's taste). We each ordered a bottled soft drink from their upright refrigerator case. Overall it was a satisfying dine-in experience for both of us, but more attention to grill times & seasonings for the taco fillings would improve the quality of their meal products.
