  The best Italian food in STL. This restaurant has been my favorite for decades. Disappointed to say the service at the casino location was atrocious. The manager and staff were insulting and deceitful to me on more than one occasion. The owner made it right and followed up. Will be back.

  Great food! We were celebrating our 30th Anniversary. Service was ok,server was very busy. Backup didn't seem to want or care to see if we needed anything.

  Had a lovely meal, service was excellent but our table area smelled like spoiled milk. Shame.

  Date night dinner at Charlie Gitto's at Hollywood Casino was fun. Our server was amazing. He was very attentive and the best part of this review. We had the toasted ravs, French Onion Soup, Nunzio (breaded chicken with cream sauce and crab meat), Stracetti with chicken with a side of Gnocchi Au Gratin. First.. the drink. The Old Fashion was really good. Strong with Bulleit. But there was a $2 surcharge on a large ice cube with with CG initial was a bit ridiculous and server didn't tell me. If I knew, I wouldn't have gotten the fancy cube. The Nunzio chicken was very blend, and dried. However, the Stracetti was PHENOMENAL! It honestly had one of the best pasta cream sauce I've ever had. I don't get how they got it so right with one dish, but failed on the other. The French Onion Soup was also to die for, so were the hand made toasted ravs. The Gnocchi was way too rich. Overall, it was a great dining experience. Pricey though. And for the $$, the Nunzio was not worth it and why I give 3 stars on food.

  I saw employees arguing the whole three hours I was there the hostess being rude I sat at the bar and there were elderly drunk people messing with everybody and the server seemed to not care at all it reeked of smoke with the casino being next to it and I came in right when they opened even! I hope they all washed there hands before they made and served the food it’s like I already see arguing at my grandparents house for Christmas I don’t need this when I’m here !
