  October 2025 Bride - Rehearsal Dinner & Wedding Cake Koch’s catered our rehearsal dinner, and the food was absolutely incredible. We had herb-crusted roasted chicken, garlic mashed potatoes, roasted broccolini, and a house salad—and every single dish was amazing. For dessert, we had chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, and peanut butter cookies, plus a Southwest trail mix as a bar snack, which guests loved. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and exactly what you want when hosting people the night before your wedding. But what really blew us away was the cake. Koch’s also made our wedding cakes—and yes, cakes, because we couldn’t decide on just one flavor. We ended up doing three, and it was one of the best decisions we made. The cake we cut was a lemon cake with white buttercream and raspberries, and it was perfect—light, fresh, and not overly sweet. We also had Almond Wedding cake and their Caramel cake. We ordered enough for about 150 people for our wedding of 95, and somehow… it was completely gone before we even got back from our honeymoon. That’s how good it was. I still rave about this cake to anyone heading toward Macon. In fact, I’ve taken a two-hour detour just to pick up their cupcakes for my mom’s birthday—and this is a woman who claims she “doesn’t like cake.” She loves theirs. Koch’s didn’t just provide food—they created something people are still talking about long after our wedding day. I would recommend them over and over again.

  Koch’s General Store did an incredible job helping with our wedding. They handled our reception dinner and then took care of the desserts and wedding cake the day of the wedding, and everything was absolutely amazing. The food for dinner was great, and the desserts were a huge hit with our guests. We honestly had no idea what we wanted to do for desserts at first, but as soon as we found Koch’s there was no need to look anywhere else. Everything tasted fantastic and was beautifully done. The service was excellent and they were great to work with throughout the entire process. We couldn’t recommend Koch’s more. Even though it’s close to an hour drive for us, we still love making the trip just to grab some cupcakes and enjoy their store. If you’re looking for great food, amazing desserts, and wonderful service, Koch’s General Store is the place to go!
