  This was my first time at Saltgrass, but the menu and atmosphere seemed very familiar. The food (blackened redfish, sirloin strip with shrimp, brussels sprouts, salads) was very good, but nothing unique or out of the ordinary. The service was the best part and exceeded expectations. We will go back, but will put it in the rotation with other Texas-themed steakhouses (e.g, Logans and Texas Roadhouse).

  The salad was great. Onion appetizer was OK. Dynamite Steak and Shrimp was not that good of a combination. The steak was done as asked. But the shrimp was not good. Server was nice. Clear and well spoken. He was predicting our needs and smart. His name was John.

  Came in to have lunch at 1:45 just my husband and myself. A gentleman seated us by the fireplace and said our waitress wouldbe with us shortly. After 5 minutes the waitress showed and took our drink order. Brought our drinks to us and said "I will be back in a few minutes." Well in this "few" minutes 3 more tables were sat. Our waitress was in the kitchen talking to other workers. She came out of the kitchen 5 different times walking right by us evwrytime. The last time she came out she was bringing another table there food. She dropped thefood off to the table then went back in the kitchen and came out bringing another table what I believe was some sauces. Left that table went over to the last table that was seated after us and took their drink and food order. At this point it was 2:15 and we still were waiting fir her to take our order. At that point it was obvious she had no interest in waiting on us so we got up and left. On the way out my husband told the manager seating close to the door that he will pay for our drinks because we have sat there all this time waiti g for the waitress to come back and take our order. Manager said no need to pay for the drinks. This was our first time in this restaraunt and the last. And no it was not busy. When we arrived there was 3 tables in the section. We will not recommend this place to anyone. And will not be back. I have to give thi place a rating per google so I gave a 1 star but honestly not worth that.

  The manager was a lady she was awesome good attitude & welcoming! I used to be a waitress so... our waiter was a Hispanic looking girl it was me and my spouse when I waited couples id definitely acknowledge both the girl was just acknowledging what my spouse said he would say thank she would say your welcome when id tell her your thank you she'd just walk away or not say anything rude if you ask me she also assumed he was paying and gave him the tab when I waited i put it in the middle unless someone at the table reaches for it or tells me other wise she also made us wait when we paid I guess assuming i was going to leave the change as tip she came back 10 min later saying she gave me back 14$ my change was 13.74 so she thought she helped me out idk i gave her her dollar back The food was actually good but texsas roadhouse rolls and butter is better

  Waited a few minutes to be seated. Ordered blue moon and water, came quickly. Bread(warm) and wipped honey/butter. Order taken and questions were answered well. Salads were freash and delicious Stakes were seasoned well and prepared as requested. Stake sauce was requested but never came. Mushrooms and onions were ordered to share. Mushrooms came with meal in a 8" skillet. They were overcooked and gritty. Onions came in 1/4 cup container. They were caramelized not sautéed. Taste was disappointing.
