- EGErik Gerischer3 days ago4.0Waited a few minutes to be seated. Ordered blue moon and water, came quickly. Bread(warm) and wipped honey/butter. Order taken and questions were answered well. Salads were freash and delicious Stakes were seasoned well and prepared as requested. Stake sauce was requested but never came. Mushrooms and onions were ordered to share. Mushrooms came with meal in a 8" skillet. They were overcooked and gritty. Onions came in 1/4 cup container. They were caramelized not sautéed. Taste was disappointing.

My steak was cooked to perfection. My wife had the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes. She said it was very good and loved the gravy on it. My daughter had what they called the cheeseburger and she said it was good too. She had the smoked mac and cheese on the side which is very tasty. And the fried mushrooms were breaded in house we believe and they were very crisp and tasty although they had a slight kick to them nothing too crazy.

Very tough and a lot of grizzle. The sides were as salty as I have ever had. My wife's salmon was very fishy tasting. Terrlble food. Won't be back.

Almost everyone in the group ordered a steak and I didn't hear any complaints! My wife & I shared the BBQ ribs which were excellent which is saying a lot in one of the greatest BBQ cities in the country. The fries were good. Ordered beans but learned that Saltgrass doesn't serve baked beans! The green beans were good tho.
