The manager at the Sonic in Laurie Missouri Susan is awesome. If your order comes out wrong, she takes care of it. She is so kind, generous, truly cares about her customers as well as her employees. Another employee there Maria is also super sweet. And Dillon, I adore him. He is awesome. The sonic and Gravois Mills, Mo 65037 truly cares about their customers.

we got the number two meal, my spouse now has yellow/brown stains on his skin from the sauce, i’ve tried calling to inquire about this and nobody answers the phone, i called the sonic in camdenton (different owners) and they said they’ve never had a case of the sauce doing that. on top of everything i sat there for about 20 minutes to still have cold food and a watered down soda.

I came through here on Friday 3/20/26. I ordered one large soda. I paid on the screen. The carhop comes out with my drink, and a card reader and instructs me to pay again. I pulled up my banking app and showed that the transaction had already went through. She cut me off and said “I’ll just go get my manager.” The manager comes out and said “We have no evidence you paid.” I show him my banking app. He says “it must be a technical difficulty. Just go ahead and pay again.” I straight up ask him, “If this goes through 2 times, will i be able to come back and get a refund?” He says yes, I can.
Monday rolls around. it did in fact, charge me 2 times. I call the restaurant. They tell me the general manager will give me a call back. nothing.
I call the next day. Express that i received no call from GM. They tell me that they spoke to the gm, the gm says since it wasn’t in the same day, i cannot get a refund. (which is what i was promised by the first manager the day of the transaction.) Instead, they are giving me a coupon for a “Free Large Drink” that i will now have to drive 20 min to go get.
Shame on me i guess, for just trying to get a soda.Even though it’s only a couple of bucks, the hassle this has been makes me so mad that i am leaving this review.
So i would reconsider stopping here if you are going to.
