  I attended a whiskey and charcuterie event (oak smoke and salt) there this evening. We arrived right before it started and beat the crowed. Andy Reigar was there pouring tastings of Reigar bourbon, rye and KC Blend, giving a back ground of each and his story. The manager then brought out some smoked salmon, 6 ways, it was excellent. He was very friendly and helpful. They have a “wine tasting room” but you can get cocktails, have a snack or even eat dinner there. I bought some sausages at my last trip in, they were great. The steaks there looked premium and you could have them grill you one up for dinner, if you want. Also had a lot of premade freezer dishes that would be great for a dinner or catering a get together. Good vibes.

  If you live in KC, especially anywhere near the Plaza, or you're going to be near the Plaza you need to check out this South Plaza Restaurant/ Butcher shop. The food is amazing the staff are awesome and attentive, the drinks are great and you just can't beat it. The New York Butcher Shoppe is great.

  Everything about this place was amazing! The steaks, the meatball appetizer, the drinks and the cheesecake 😋 the staff was so friendly and attentive to us.. atmosphere was layed back and relaxing .. we truly enjoyed going there and will be back . Great food drinks and time for my birthday night!! Owner was super nice!

  This is a must go to place!! The steaks were amazing. The meatball app was one of the best with the toasted crostini’s! Drinks were good also. The staff was also amazing couldn’t ask for friendly down to earth people. One of the owners introduced himself and was on top of everything. It was my birthday so glad we chose to try this place. Atmosphere was comfortable too !!! We will definitely be going back .. want to try lunch there also!!!

  Undoubtedly the best wings I’ve ever had—hands down. And then there’s Mariah, the bartender… absolutely wonderful. We started chatting about the menu, and she said, “You’ve got to check out our butcher shop.” Wow….Incredible cuts you just don’t see every day. I'll never buy steaks/meat anywhere else. And how often do you get to walk into a restaurant, pick out your own steak, and have them cook it for you? Not often. What’s more, they have tremendous specials on a daily basis for both food and wine. Turn another corner, and you’ll find a full freezer section of meats, cheese, sides…and an impressive wine selection! But what truly makes this place special is the people—the owner, the staff, everyone. Such a great experience all around. Definitely worth your time. I can’t wait to go back for a steak and they’re happy hour. You have to check it out.
