This is possibly the worst Taco Bell location I've experienced, and that's saying something. I typically use the app and order online so that hopefully my food will be ready when i get there. At any given location, i order about 10 minutes before i plan on getting there. At this location, I've ended up waiting around 20 minutes after that 10 minutes, every time. And when i eventually get my order, it's wrong. It's sad that i intentionally drive out of my way to a location that's a few miles further from where i live. That location makes this one look like an unattended lemonade stand.
In this particular instance, my bladder was rather full and i was going to use the facilities before ordering. There's a keypad on the restroom doors that you need a code from the employees to get into. Let me assure you: the code isn't "1234." I don't know what the code is. And there was no hope of finding out. The one visible employee who was not lounging at a table or outside on the phone was standing on the other side of the counter - a counter that once served a purpose of human interaction that resulted in a food order being taken. But enough about the old days. Today, this one seemingly on-duty employee stood there scrolling through her phone for about 3 minutes , never aware (or acting aware) that a customer was present, while I stared at her and also looked around the inside of the building like I was in some dystopian future movie. But i wasn't in one of those. No 3 sea shells for me! I was in Taco Bell at Stateline and 103rd in Kansas City: A place where you can walk in and probably just take over the whole operation at anytime. You can do pretty much anything you want, other than use the restroom or have someone who works there acknowledge your existence. The only other customer had placed an order on the kiosk screen and was looking around like me, wondering if this was still a place where you give them money and they make food for you. I finally walked out. As i was doing so, the employee on the phone in the parking lot was passing me on her way back in. I asked her "is anyone NOT on break here?" She ignored me and kept walking with (to get credit, I guess) a smile. Once she got behind the counter she decided to start talking to me. At that point, I said "bye" and waved at her.
This is what happened. Avoid this taco bell. I've lived near it for 6+ years now and I'm amazed it's somehow still in business. I've ONLY had bad experiences here.

Literally pulled up to the Drive-through my window was up so I’ll just say hello to get there attention the drive thru workers yells “I said order 2” with the most Most ratchet, unprofessional tone I have ever heard from a drive-through worker. I don’t care if he said order when you’re ready five times you still have the respect to just say hello order when you’re ready do you know how to stay that you said it two times clearly I didn’t hear you.” Honestly, speaking, he needs to sent home and to try his day again !

The service at this location is absolute trash. Completely unprofessional. The store didn’t have a single customer when I walked in and asked to have my order taken. I was told they were refusing to take my order unless I used a kiosk or the drive thru. There were 5 people standing in front of me doing nothing that could have taken my order, they just didn’t want to. They claimed the area managers want them to refuse customer service to someone requesting it. Like, what? Just take the order. The attitudes of the employees were disgusting and my already time constraint lunch took even longer because instead of taking my order, they wanted to argue and justify why they didn’t want to take my order. The GM was very rude and no one offered to assist me. I won’t be back at this location. I see why they have crap reviews. Work on your service and if you don’t like your job, get a new one. It’s not that hard

I eat entirely too much taco bell. I like the spicy potato soft tacos. I like the potatoes to be well done, just a little extra crispy. This is one of two locations in the greater kansas city area that absolutely refuses to do that for me. Even during non peak hours. Not only do they refuse, but they also get annoyed at me for even asking. Have been told its against policy, it takes too long, and they don't cook to order. Yet, every other taco bell is fine with accommodating a customer. Shameful
