The osso bucco was velvety tender and perfectly flavorful. The filet and lobster was such an amazing pairing this diehard seafood hater thought it was excellent. The cocktails were delicious. And the dessert coffee I had (had brandy, orange, and vanilla in it) was something that I want to learn to make.

My fiance took me for my birthday last night for the 2nd time and it was just as good as it was 10yrs ago. I'm excited my fiance loved it just as me because that means we'll be going again sometime!!! This is now our fav restaurant for the food, atmosphere, service, all of it!!!

We've tried The Antler Room and The Restaurant at 1900 among others. Le Fou Frog -- hands down -- is the restaurant to beat in our minds. I had been disappointed that the atmosphere in other places wasn't quite what we were hoping for. If you want vibes and atmosphere: Le Fou Frog is the place to go. It's charming meets hip meets comfortable. We would have felt like we fit in if we were dressed up (which we were as we were headed to Swan Lake at the Kauffman right after) or in jeans. On top of that our server, Claire, was incredibly warm, personable, and helpful. The food was incredible to top it all off, and we appreciated not feeling like we were being rushed out the door. Hats off to this place. We'll definitely be returning soon.
