I hadn’t eaten all day and ended up ordering through the app. The food took them a little longer to make than normal, but I’m patient and didn’t mind too much. When I got home and bit into my burrito, the rice was the consistency of playdough mixed with sand. You couldn’t make out individual grains of rice. It was closer to burnt porridge. I couldn’t make it more than a few bites in without almost vomiting. I tried to call the store, but they prevent you from reaching their phone and force you to talk to a chatbot. The app’s support is also all AI and cannot resolve issues. I’m not including this in the overall review of the store, since it’s more of a corporate issue. This review is a 3 star because the employees re-made my burrito when I brought it back and were nice. The rice on the second burrito still wasn’t as good as the rice I normally get, but it was at least edible. I’m not sure why I was served that rice. You can tell by looking at it that it wasn’t right. At some point an employee looked at that disgusting goop and decided to put it in customer’s burritos. I am begging you to make sure it doesn’t happen again. I hope I don’t get food poisoning.
