  Came here for restaurant week with my family. We were seated quickly, the food was fantastic, dining area was super clean. We really enjoyed our server ( I think his name was Joe) he was fast, attentive, and very nice to our baby. I’ve been to char bar plenty of times but this was the first time I took my grandparents and I was so happy that we got a great server that gave them a good experience. Will definitely be bringing them back again. Sadly I forgot to take pictures of our main course but our dessert was beautiful and delicious as well.

  When we arrived we wanted to order this special however management informed us at that time they had already sold out and it was only 12:15 in the afternoon. Seeing how they did not have any more the manager made it a point to make sure before we left he gave us a certificate to get a sandwich at a later date and closer to home. I felt that was excellent customer service skills.

  I went in with my family for New Year's Day lunch and we had an amazing time. We go to Char Bar a few times a year and it's always been great but this time was even better. Our server Sydney was amazing. Very polite, helpful, and her communication about our orders was great. We will be back very soon! PS we love the vegan options!

  We ordered the womp for two dinner and were very disappointed. We received small sides and a bag of four onion rings not the large portions as advertised. The meat was very dry and flavorless. I will not ever order from them again, nor will I go there. For 78 dollars I should have gone to gates or zarda, at least there I know what I’m getting.

  some coworkers and i went there last friday around 7-730, we were a large group, maybe 15. on a friday night, so they were very busy. our waiter came and took drink orders, those came out pretty quick, then took a good while to take our food orders but we weren’t in a rush, just hanging out and chatting so no biggie. we finally order our food and my partner ends up experiencing a really bad diabetic low (he’s type 1 diabetic). i rushed right over to our waiter and asked her if she can get him a sprite like ASAP. she said sure and came back 5 minutes later with the sprite and a bunch of food…….. then another person in our party had went to order some ice cream for my boyfriend (just to help him get his blood sugar up) and in the middle of him ordering she said “one sec”, to which he responded, “sorry, this is urgent, he needs something sweet right away.” then it still took her 5+ minutes to bring it. not to mention, a party of 8 came in after our party and got their drinks and food before us… then they added the drink and ice cream onto our tab— which is fine, we’re willing to pay for it (and did and added a tip) but considering this was a medical emergency, they could’ve ate that. i get it was busy friday night but there should be some protocol around priority when it comes to medical emergencies (especially diabetes). my sandwich was cold too but it was good once i warmed it up and added bbq sauce at home later lol. overall, wouldn’t come again because we felt ignored and overlooked when it came to something this serious. which i hate because it really seemed like a cool place to vibe and hangout with friends and family. we enjoyed the fire pit.
