Omg, this place was awesome. Paul our server was to die for! from the kindness to the laughs he was great. The food was beautifully served and it was seasoned. I had the waffles and chicken oh my God that was so good.
Thanks so much for making our group feel special for my birthday.

Super Bowl Sunday and I stopped in for a beer and some fries. Cassie at the bar was her usual bubbly self, making my long overdue return visit to Beer Kitchen even more memorable.

Came to eat brunch with a friend. Both got the chicken and waffles which were good, however, I learned they did away with the red velvet waffle, which was by far and away the best thing on the brunch menu. The service was also a little lacking. When the waitress refilled our water, she was basically walking away as she refilled my friend’s glass and spilled water everywhere. The waitress didn’t even say anything or bring any napkins so we could clean up the water. A little disappointing this time but I’m sure I’ll come back again at some point…maybe once the construction in Westport is finished.

The menu is misleading when it comes to the possible burger. It says house made veggie burger: The burger is made of beets. It was soggy, mushy, no flavor. The food took 45 minutes to get to us. It is restaurant week so I assumed it would be busy, but since our reservation was at 1pm I figured we would be served a lot quicker. My husband only ate a few bites of the sandwich. The server asked us if he could take our plates after we were done and commented on the sandwich that was left on the plate. He said the menu should have a more specific description of the possible burger, because most people are looking for the texture of a burger, not a purple/red patty made of beets. This was our first time at this restaurant, and we told our server that, so I am surprised he didn't mention that to us when we ordered.
I didn't like the fact there was no parking around the restaurant, had to park a couple blocks away.
