Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Many customers reported slow service, rude staff, and frequent order mistakes.
Food Quality
While some enjoyed the burgers, there were numerous complaints about cold, uncooked, or incorrect food.
Cleanliness
Several reviews mentioned unsanitary conditions in the restaurant, including dirty bathrooms and unkempt dining areas.
Positive Experiences
Despite the negative feedback, some customers praised the friendly service and enjoyed their meals.

Lots of new issues. Hasn’t been as good as when it first opened. DoorDash get huge priority, so much that my online order isn’t even started until I wait in the lobby for 15 minutes. All the employees that made this store in the beginning good seem replaced. Stuff is never stocked or ready like the sweet tea. Always hear “oh the other shift didn’t do it” and that’s at different times of day over multiple visits. I will always pick the Webb City location over this one. Shame since Joplin Whataburger is on my commute

Burgers were fine but not great. The breakfast honey chicken was good definitely not over cooked like most fast food chicken.
The service was slow but kind.

Went thru the drive thru for breakfast and couldn't believe how rude the woman taking my order was. She told me I was at the wrong restaurant after I asked if they had ham egg and cheese sandwich. A simple we dont serve that would've been cool. That was crazy

I grab a breakfast burger 1-2 times a week. Normally great. Today was way different. Cold sandwich and instead of bacon slices there was one and soggy bits. Very disappointing.

We went through the DT, and there was no one in the line and only a handful or people of people inside. We purchused a patty melt and a s&s bacon burger. We were asked to wait "about" 2mins for hot fries. We awaited 12 mins for our food. When we got home we could not eat our burgers at all. They were raw. We spent $25 on food we could not eat. We should have taken pictures but we were too pissed. This was my first time ever eating at Whataburger. Will not be back.
