The location is too busy and understaffed to handle the workload. You will wait in a 10-20 person line while 1 person is making food for the line and everyone else is seemingly standing around. The person making the online orders is interrupting the person serving the in-person guest constantly, and they are almost always out of very important ingredients (such as entire protein option, always out of the grilled veggies, cheese, sour cream, etc.)
Avoid this location at all costs if you place online orders as they will give you the tiniest portions ever. We ordered hard shell tacos and one of them literally had 1 cube of chicken in it. One single piece. For over $10 !!!
There are literally 3-4 people behind the counter aside from the person making the food for the people in line and they will all completely ignore the huge lines. Zero management or leadership evident, as this place could be infinitely more efficient if they actually used all of the employees they have on staff to make food.

One of the managers is so picky that you aren’t allowed to have extra cheese even if you offer to pay extra. Others will either charge extra or just throw more on but here they refuse to do it at all.
I travel around so I see differences between numerous locations.

Got rushed by the server to hurry up and make a choice. The food looked not so good, and then sat down and it tasted like eating pure salt. Couldn’t even finish half of it. Once and done for me.

I have never been so disappointed in Chipotle here in Joplin. The service was not great, tables were filthy, and to finish the meat on our food was rubbery. It was supposedly fresh too. To pay $30+ for only two people for trash is terrible.

Employees are rude and refuse to give extra even if I offer to pay. He said he was a manager. He is tall and slightly heavy set. I have been coming to this location without trouble for over a year and now that he is here it has gone down hill. Now they are really rude.
