When I arrived, I noticed they were busy, but I figured since I was just getting something that was supposed to be quick, that I wouldn't be in there long. The atmosphere was pretty cool, even if i was the only black person in the restaurant at the time.While watching others being attended to and served their food (even if i ordered before them), I still tried to stay patient. To the server that came up to me last night and apologized for how long I waited for something simple, I appreciate that, thats also why i made sure to tip her when i paid for my food. I got my food 30min later after ordering even though i was told it would be a 15min order. I felt embarrassed as if my food was made to be the last order to be sent out even tho I ordered sooner than some of the other customers that arrived. Even after getting my food, my food was nearly lukewarm on the verge of going cold. Dont get me wrong, I also have worked in food establishments and know that management would be angry to serve a customer food at a temperature the most people would think that the food sat on the counter until the last minute.
