Absolutely terrible experience. We paid for gel tag, scheduled our time, and never got to play. Employees ignored us while standing around talking. We had to find a manager, and the only response was a refund and “maybe next time.” Many of the games were broken or didn’t work at all. Horrible service — never going back.

1. I apologize to anybody who was on the bad end of me tonight
2. This place is not what it used to be. Everytime I have came in the last year at least one of my favorite games weren't working right... mainly my favorite.
I have been coming here since it has opened. And for a 2 year period up until a year ago I was coming at least once a week moving on to at least once a month throughout.
Everytime I come there is business (I usually come during the week) so there is no reason for yall to not have things fixed when they're broken.

Very Disappointing Experience
We spent over $140 at Main Event in Independence ($100 on game cards and $40 for the zip line attraction) and were extremely disappointed with the food service afterward.
Our kids were hungry, so we ordered snacks from the snack area. Three chicken fingers took 30 minutes to come out. After that, we had to wait another 5 minutes just to get someone’s attention for ketchup.
Later, we ordered chips and queso and a basket of fries for $12 for them to share. That took another 25–30 minutes, and when it finally arrived, it was ridiculous. They gave us about 10 fries and maybe a dozen chips, and the queso was cold. The portion was nowhere near what was shown in the picture, which was extremely deceiving.
On top of that, the fountain drinks had no ice. When we asked about the chips, the heavier set woman in the pink shirt, blonde hair (no name tag) was very rude and told us we’d have to order another chips and queso just to get more chips. Thankfully, another worker did heat up the queso after we complained.
We ended up speaking to the manager, who gave us a plate of fries, but we should not have had to escalate the issue just to receive a reasonable portion or basic customer service.
Between the long waits, misleading food portions, lack of ice, and rude staff, this experience was frustrating and not worth the money. We will not be back.

It was clean and the games were great. The gravity ropes schedule seems to be completely made up and enforced by the local workers there. It does not match the website or even what the front desk says. My son's main goal was to do the gravity ropes. We arrived at 3:30 and had dinner reservations at 6pm near by. The front desk says the gravity ropes open at 5pm. I purchased it for my son. At 5pm there was no one around the gravity ropes. I went to the front desk, they were confused and told me to go ask the workers at the prize place. I went to them, and they showed me a small sign on their dest that showed they didnt open until 6pm. Back tp the front desk, and the lady there called someone on the radio. The person on the radio also agreed that the ropes open at 5pm. Now back to the people at the prize desk. They say 6pm again. (There were 4 of them at this desk and 2 of them seemed to be relaxing and on their phones). I informed them that there seems to be a mixup. Check out the picture i attatched of their website which said the same thing as the front desk at the location, and the paper one the workers printed off at the prize desk. One of the workers goes to the front desk to talk to them about it. (Not sure why she couldn't call them on the radio). She finally came back and said they definitely wont be open until 6pm. I said ok, we will go to dinner and come back. She said I can come back and buy a ticket there and schedule it. I told her I already purchased it, can I schedule it now? She acted extremely confused at the possibility of me already purchasing it at the front desk. I just told her nevermind and we left. After dinner, we returned at 7:10 with the only intention of my son doing the gravity ropes and then heading home. The gravity ropes are still closed with no one around. I went to ask, and for a second they started to tell me they were too under staffed. When I expressed frustration, they said they would open them and would schedule me. The first time they had "available" was in 40 min. I tried to remain calm but expressed frustration. They opened right up, my son's dream was realized, and we went home. It was a mixed bag of miscommunication, wrong information on their part, and a genuine lack of effort.
