The food quality is decent at best the freshness isn’t always the best I’ve had some Mcchicken sandwiches where the chicken patty was rough like it was sitting on the cooker to long the other sandwiches where more fresh and the chicken was better and sometimes the sandwich’s no matter what you get are put together sloppy like they don’t seem to care about presentation and being a holts summit resident for almost 3 years it doesn’t surprise me on the things that can happen at this McDonald’s location and honestly I don’t think that management seems to care either because if they really did this location would be a whole lot better and I mean a whole lot better.

Please do not accept delivery orders through DoorDash and then delay them until the business is closed. The breakdown in communication means that a refund must now be issued, which is an inconvenience.

Stopped on the way home to stretch our legs, use the restroom and walk the dogs before ordering something to eat. There were 2 employees outside smoking, one came out twice while we were there. Restrooms were nasty. Toilet paper roll in women's was on hook on back of the door. Looked like it fell and rolled on the floor a couple of times. We ordered at the drive thru and had to wait along with 7 other vehicles for our order about 15 minutes. The employee that came out with orders had to ask each person what they ordered. The spicy chicken wasn't spicy, it was hard and dry with a dab of sauce, not sure There was lettuce on it. The cheeseburgers were so full of ketchup you tasted nothing else. In my opinion Management needs to be reviewed at this location. I feel sorry for the young people working there, a poor example is being set for them.

I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but this location has earned it.
I’ve lived in Holts Summit for four years, and somehow this McDonald’s manages to get worse every time. The drive-thru regularly takes 30 minutes for food that’s supposed to be “fast.” The ice cream machine is NEVER working (at this point it feels intentional). And when you finally get your order, the service shows zero urgency and the food quality is consistently terrible.
I honestly question my own judgment for continuing to come back. I always tell myself it’ll be quick or convenient, and it never is. If disappointment were on the menu, this place would have it perfected.
