Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Customer experiences with service quality were mixed, with some praising friendly staff and quick service, while others reported long wait times and order inaccuracies.
Food Quality
Food quality received varied feedback; while many enjoyed the burgers and breakfast items, others found certain menu items lacking in taste or poorly prepared.
Cleanliness
Cleanliness of the restaurant was noted positively by some, but others reported issues with dirty floors and unsanitary conditions.
Management
Management received both praise for resolving issues and criticism for poor handling of customer complaints, indicating inconsistency in leadership.

The food was good although it was not the best fast food burger I've eaten. The service was just okay. It was the first time we had eaten in a Whataburger, and we got an eye roll from the counter girl because we needed time to check out the menu. The restaurant was extremely noisy with music that is not appropriate for all age groups. Obviously they cater to young diners. Personally, I won't go back.

Absolute worst Whataburger I have been to in my life and I’m from Texas. I would’ve ranked the food except for after 40 minutes waiting and drive-through I left so I didn’t get any. Unless you wanna waste your entire day waiting in a drive-through just to get excuses and hung up on please visit the Whataburger in Harrisonville absolute trash!
