I love the Baskin Robbins, located on Lindbergh and Patterson Avenues in the north county area.I frequent there at least once a week. Today I used my debit card to pay for my purchase. The individual who waited on me through the drive up verbally gave me a price of $18.19. I gave that person my debit card and the total price on the receipt was 21.83. The receipt number was # 2950 and purchased at 6:11 pm. I was charged 3.64 for a tip which I did not authorize . The person at the window said they accidentally pressed the tip button which I don't believe. The person offered to refund the amount to me but I was hesitant about having my card run through the system again. Please talk to your workers about this. I know many of them are high school youngsters trying to earn money but this was the wrong thing to do. This is not the first time something like this has happened. Last summer I used a 20 dollar gift card for a purchase. My purchase was about 14 dollars. The person at the cash register asked did I want the card back! If course I did since the balance on the card was 6 dollars. I am a former educator and I believe in giving young people a chance and I am glad they are working but they need to not engage in behavior that is bad for the business. Finally, I appreciate your commitment

I would rate this place a zero if it was allowed. This happened today around 5:45p. I asked the woman through the speaker at the drive- thru if banana splits were six dollars? I saw this on an online advertisement and wanted to verify it. The woman answered, "Is it Wednesday?" I was taken back. Then she said, "do you have the app?" This was beyond disrespectful and ignorant for an employee to respond to me this way. I asked a legitimate question. I told her that's okay, and drove off. How could an employee of a business ever think this was an acceptable way to speak to a customer? I honestly said nothing else to her. I'm sure if she said this to me, she has been rude like this to others. Unacceptable.

I went to Baskin-Robbins on Lindbergh and Patterson today in honor of the 80th anniversary. They advertised you can get a scoops of ice cream for $.80 per scoop. According to the coupon each customer can get up to six scoops of ice cream for $.80 each. I asked for three scoops of ice cream and pulled up my coupon, the young lady stated their coupon scanner is broken and I can only get one scoop of ice cream for $.80. I read her what the coupon said and she said her manager said customers can only get one scoop for that price. I asked to speak with the manager and the young lady stated the manager was not there. It’s funny that the device that scans the coupons was not working today when it’s working all other days and I bet it will be working tomorrow. I don’t understand why they decided not to honor what the coupon says.
