- MCMarissa Calvin6 days ago1.0My husband went in at 7:05 PM to pick up our online order that was scheduled for 7:00 PM. The pickup kiosk had a sign directing customers to the bar, so he walked up there as instructed. There were people sitting at the bar, but no one waiting in line or ahead of him for service. While he stood there, the bartender was talking with another employee. Two separate white customers walked in after him. She walked around him to greet and seat them, got them drinks, and took their order — without ever acknowledging my husband. No greeting. No “I’ll be right with you.” Nothing. He eventually had to find another employee to help him. A kitchen staff member apologized and even mentioned that the bartender is known for being rude. When he finally received the order, part of our food was missing. I called and spoke to the manager. Although she refunded the order, she repeatedly dismissed the concern and insisted they were just “busy” and that racism was not the case. However, customers who arrived after him were clearly assisted immediately while he was ignored. Being treated as if you’re invisible while others are promptly helped is unacceptable. A refund does not address the treatment or how it makes someone feel. Very disappointing experience.
