And much to my dismay, I pulled a long blonde hair from my mouth as it was obviously intermingled in the sandwich, which was an embarrassing experience sitting amongst friends. Before leaving the store, I noticed the staff did NOT wear hairnets, although the hair was apparently from whomever was preparing the tuna salad, not the servers. I saved the second half of the sandwich for later, and unbelievably pulled a hair out of that part as well. It wasn't as long, but definitely didn't leave a lasting positive reason for going back to Subway. From now on, I'll make the hairnet observation before eating at any restaurant.
