The french toast was excellent, and the fried potatoes (I asked for cubed, like home fry type taters and was pleasantly surprised they offered them as well as shredded hasbrowns) were very good. The service was good. The only thing about RJs that I have an issue with (this was my 2nd visit) is how close the tables are together it feels kind of cramped. It isn't a very big place. I am guesing it's a local hot spot though, and I guess the regulars pack in and feel comfy in there so I get it. This visit the music was kind of loud, it made conversation with my girls a bit difficult. I should have asked if it could be turned down a bit I suppose. Overall RJs is a pretty good place to get some good food.
