Problem was that while an older lady was helping prepare people's food, a younger guy stood there at the cash register watching. No customer is at the register, mind you. Just standing there watching. No effort to perhaps help his co-worker with the line or ask for help from the back. Perhaps they were short-staffed. Understandable. But no excuse to wait by a cash register instead of helping prepare the food for the people in line. I haven't gone here in person in a while and I was reminded why

Next time I come in and try to use the “free guac” coupon, the Girl at the counter couldn’t figure out how to ring it up properly. Asks the manager for help and he takes the guac off the ticket. But then refused to give me it because I “didn’t pay for it.” Even though we’re all gathered there staring at the “free side of guac coupon on my phone.” Incompetence at the register and an incompetent manager IMO. I came here to leave a review, and I see that this chipotle location has 2.7 stars. So I guess I’m not the only one with problems. Never seen a manager just not give a shit about having a satisfied customer before. Especially over something so small as a coupon that’s failing to ring up properly on THEIR end. Oh well. I’ll take my business somewhere else next time.
