I asked if I could get light ice or no ice in my drink and the employee taking the order said that was no problem, then the worker making my drink yelled out my name and unpleasantly said she cannot and will not make it without ice and if I don’t want ice I have to take it out myself. I would have thought this poor lady was just having a bad day and shrug it off but the same thing happened the last time we were here. Every other Caribou I have ever ordered at has never had a problem making this without ice, and always with a kind and happy attitude. This lady was really loud, seemed upset, not in a good mood, and had very poor customer service.

I came in expecting to use my birthday drink reward, but the staff told me I couldn’t redeem it and made me pay for my drink instead. When I did, the drink was so overly sweet it was undrinkable. I politely asked if they could remake it, but was told they “can’t take back a drink.” To make matters worse, right after refusing me, they turned around and gave the person behind me a free coffee. It felt dismissive, inconsistent, and honestly ruined what should have been a special day. I’ve always liked Caribou, but this experience was incredibly disappointing. If this is how customer service is handled, especially for loyal Perks members on their birthday, I don’t know that I’ll be coming back.
