I hate being the last minute customer, but was craving a coffee fix after grocery shopping! I was greeted promptly, but it wasn’t the greeting I expected. The employee stated, “Oh, I’m sorry. We closed at 2.” I looked at my watch and then clock in their store, which displayed the accurate time. I can totally appreciate if they decided to close down a little early because, well, sh*t happens! But to say we closed (past tense) at 2 when it hadn’t even gotten to that point in time yet was a little off putting.
