I’d walk across the street to Winchester and Rye all day long. The Noble Lion fell short on everything except a couple of apps and dessert. Gosh I hate leaving a bad review but everything is so expensive these days and I know how much I rely on reviews so I wanted give an honest one here. The Gouda cheese curds were very bland (but the sauces were excellent). I enjoyed my grilled Caesar salad and my friend loved her salmon with crusty bread.
For our entrees, I ordered the halibut. The fish was completely dry on the outside, and overcooked so it was tough. The risotto was good, but I’ve have much much better risotto. Her ribeye was so thin we thought she got the wrong order. We also ordered a third entree because it was the special - braised short rib - that meat was delish, but the baked (?) risotto with that was bland and tasted funny. Everything just needed salt/seasoning.
My friend ordered a glass of red wine ($24) and it was served in a white wine glass. And the silverware was something you’d find in a Denny’s and the steak knives wood handles were rough. All the flatware was dingy.
For the prices, we just had higher expectations. Our waitress didn’t know the menu either.
Dessert was Crem brûlée and that was excellent as was the key lime cheesecake.
The management/owner needs to step up their game. Most people dine out for the whole experience so all of it matters.
I’m not even interested in giving them a second chance.

Heard great things about this restaurant so took my wife here for her birthday. The bison was so tough I couldn’t even eat it, very pour cut of meat. The server did offer to get something different so tried the ribeye which tasted good but was the thinnest ribeye I’ve ever seen.
Drinks were good and service was standard.
Atmosphere was classy and 5 stars!
I added a note to my reservation, stating it was a birthday dinner, as every other restaurant I have been to will do something special for the birthday person, but no acknowledgment there.
Would give it another try but for now it’s not a place I would frequent for date nights, as there are better options area.

THE BEST place to eat. My favorite is that the menu is always changing. It's not processed food being zipped out in 10 minutes, its a curated experience of delicious food and chill vibes. I also can't drink right now being pregnant so I have been trying mocktails in a lot of restaurants. This is the ONLY place that has made a good mocktail that doesn't taste like juice and sparkling water. The restaurant is small and cozy which keeps it quite to have a nice conversation and the staff has always been sweet and attentive. We go here on all our special dates and never regret it. I would give it 6 stars if I could.
