  So my girlfriend & I went to The Freight House for dinner and the Crown Jewels show, a Queen tribute band, on 2-22-26. The food was decent, good service and the show was fun. BUT.... Last week I got a parking ticket in the mail for $70.77, for parking in the lot that sure looked like the parking lot of The Freight House. Neither I nor my girlfriend saw anything about paying for parking... it was dark, there were lots of cars coming & going, and there was snow on the ground. The ticket said that "the required fee was not paid before departing." There was no arm stopping me from leaving, and again, we didn't see anything saying to pay. I called The Freight House to ask what was going on and was told that there was nothing they could do and that they've heard that from other people every since they sold the lot to some company to charge for parking. They said that I could call them and try to get it reduced. Seems like a pretty good racket... I say they need to install a ticket giver at the entrance and a gate-arm pay kiosk at the exit to make things crystal clear. That's the reason for 2-stars... doubtful that we will be going back.

  We went to the Amy Winehouse show. Second time we saw it and it was even better the second time. My martini was less than average/watered down. Otherwise, everything was great.

  not a concert venue. bought a ticket for a recent show. when i got there, there was no place to stand, no place to sit. JX is far superior

  The. women's bathroom was filthy, as it last time here thee years ago. I had the Roots Bowl, which was as bland as bland can be. Good band, but way too loud even while wearing custom-molded ear plugs Tables are very tight, making it difficult to leave.

  The Clapton Complete experience was very well done! The staff were welcoming, the service was great and the band was outstanding! Can't go wrong performing Clapton tunes, and this band pulled it off expertly. Highly recommend this group, and the Freighthouse is an engaging venue.
