  Absolute gem, and serving a real need for Indian cuisine in St. Paul. My husband and I got the tandoori dinner for two. It's an enormous amount of food - samosas, fish, lamb, chicken, shrimp, your choice of bread and dessert- an absolutely insane value. And the flavors are not dialed down at all. I am picky! We got regular naan instead of the keema naan we had ordered, they were quick to replace it, and the keema naan was outstanding. Very friendly service. We chatted with our waiter as we were paying the bill, and he suggested we try the street food next time. We will! We didn't drink anything besides water but they offer a full selection including Indian beers, wines, and NA favorites like lassi and chai. The total with tax, tip, and the credit card surcharge was under $60 and we brought two leftover boxes home. If you live in St. Paul and have been missing an Indian restaurant, then run, don't walk to Indian Kitchen. Just don't fall on the ice!

  We picked up two orders of the Chicken Tika Masala and two orders of Naan. This is the third or fourth time I’ve gotten this from here and my eyes always almost roll back with how good it is. Yum!

  Picked up a to go order, didn't love the default tip at 20% for take out... when I arrived, no one was at the front and a waiter and waitress were just chatting outside the kitchen but didn't bother to come over. After a few minutes a gentleman came over and handed me my order that had been sitting there. I had the beef and mushrooms, didn't look at all like the picture on the menu and came with rice which I wasn't expecting. I ordered it as a mild and thought it was ok. Perhaps a better experience for dine in....

  Food was good but service was pretty bad. When both of our drinks were empty they kept walking over and just refilled my husband's but never mine (we had the same drink) and when we were boxing up our leftovers they just started taking dishes away with food in them before confirming we were even done with it. We will stick with our usual places and won't be coming back.

  I've dined in and ordered takeout a few times now. It's become one of my favorite spots. The food is really tasty. I'm vegetarian and gluten free and there are many options on the menu. The shahi paneer has been my favorite so far. Service has always been prompt and polite, and they come around to fill waters (I'm bummed when I go to a restaurant and go thirsty). I also like that when I order something with a "hot" spice level, it does come with some kick. I feel the Minnesota adjusted spice scale in some restaurants is too toned down. I'll keep coming here, bringing guests, and trying new dishes.
