(He is a Brit and has high expectations of Indian food.) I feel the same, but I feel like my opinion has less weight! We ordered a mango lassi, popodums, naan, Chicken Makhani, and Chicken Tikka Masala. The curries were beautifully creamy and absolutely delicious. I felt like every bite got better. Tikka Masala seems to vary quite a bit from restaurant to restaurant, but this one was the variety with peppers in the sauce, which showed in the flavor. We had mild curry, for my sake, but it was a mistake. I could have gone for more spice than that. The naan were perfect, not too soft to too chewy and with a slight crisp. The popodums were great and I save those for my curry (which was lovely to dunk into) but the dips that are served with them were moreish. The mango lassi was delicious: a fantastic balance of flavor between the tangy yogurt and mango. It would pair well with a spicier dish. We shared 1, but not next time! Absolutely lovely. We are definitely excited about coming again!
