Shawn, jose, brenda and tera are cheerful.and professional. I come by about 4 times a week and they always wave and smile. A couple times i screwed up my order and they did everything possible to remake my sandwich quickly and get me on my way.

Awful, just awful. I am a Jimmy John District Manager from out of State, and I decided to get a sandwich at this particular Jimmy John's as part of my trip. Seeing this poor young man requesting help on the line so he could make the deliveries, and no one helped. I assume it's because he wants them to replace him so he can make the deliveries. I counted; there were about nine employees, and three of them were free, hanging around the kiosk with a gentleman bagging the order for the sandwiches to go out. None of those three drivers, I think, helped this worker. Did they hear him, because I heard him, and I was at the cashier? I understand they look like drivers next to the kiosk, but drivers also have to help when needed. My question is, did they help when he requested so he could take the deliveries? Because I saw something different. It started when I saw him with the first bag as he kept requesting someone take the line and then there were about 10 or more until he finally took a certain amount of deliveries. One of the three free employees should just go to the line and have the young man get his deliveries, and they could do so too with the chain reaction of replacing each other (Not so hard). There was no letting him know that they had got the line and he could go. The physical and communication was not there. I wouldn't allow my drivers at my Jimmy's to do this to another driver. I assume what that young worker is. Seeing this just made the sandwich I ordered from this site worthless, as I experienced what happened to that worker who asked to be replaced so he could run deliveries and yet no one encountered him to take that place. I will not allow this at my store or have the owner I work with deal with this kind of action. This is Jimmy John, who is the manager? You've got to do better. This work environment is a team work environment to get the sandwiches out, not a minority employee who looks like they are working most out of the team. Jimmy John's sandwich is freeky fast and tastes as good as the hard-working employee, any other just degrades the sandwich, no matter how perfect this Jimmy John makes it.

It is very uncomfortable seeing another employee getting overworked at the end of the line as this employee has deliveries and his team members do nothing. When I was making an order at the cashier, he was told multiple times that he had made deliveries and he should take the deliveries.
At the same time, that employee, who was told multiple times that he got deliveries, also asked his team members who I saw did nothing but stand and look at the screen to help "cover the line" for him. This particular employee constantly asked for a team member to help "cover the line." No movement, no approach and no notice to this worker. This worker was busy on the line making sandwiches and the other team members didn't "cover" him when he requested it multiple times. I saw that this employee worked almost until all the tickets in the line were done with another female worker. After that, I saw he grabbed some bags and touched the screen and went to what I think was his delivery. But no help during that moment this worker requested multiple times? No approach from any of the standing employees to let this guy know that they will take the line and he should go? None? This started with one bag behind him and then there were about 10 or more bags. Does it take that long for any free employee, 4 out of 9 standing free employees, to respond? I would think that a team member would respond and that particular employee would make the deliveries as requested the first time. I wish this poor employee luck, as I also heard from another gentleman on the other line saying, "It is easy for someone to cover the line," but no one covered the line, until this employee was about done with the line of tickets.
I am not a fan of how this employee was treated. I wonder if that particular employee got fired that day? Doesn't surprise me. I saw that treatment done, and I don't know if Corp would see this or do anything about it. It could be how they run. Seeing this makes my sandwich taste as bad as the response time of the other team members who didn't help another team member in need.
