They have shorted me twice on my pick up orders. It sucks that I really need to open the box and count the bagels before I leave.
Update that I did contact Brueggers via the contact us on their website with my order information. They have not responded, my expectations are low.
2nd Update
Customer service did contact me and made it right I have changed my rating to reflect this..

Everything that is frustrating about going out to eat these days. Lots of staff, no one wants to make eye contact, no one wants to take an order, everyone just shuffling around trying to look busy. Girl taking orders has her hat pulled down so far you can't see her face and mumbles. Took over 10 minutes to order a bagel and cream cheese with 3 people in front of me. Interior looks abandoned, tried to find a napkin and gave up... would not return. Staff is killing this place. Not to mention the tip request on my $4 bagel ranged from $1 to $4. 25%- 100%. That is insulting.

Two days before my family brunch, I ordered a dozen bagels on the Brueggers app, to be picked up on Christmas eve. The app asked me what time I want to pick up and offered options. I selected 2:30. On Christmas eve morning, I received an email from Brueggers that my credit card was charged for the bagels. At 2:15, I went into the store and the manager immediately informed me that the store was closed and they didn't have any bagels for me. When I explained that I had ordered days before and had been billed that morning, they said "that's the app." They said I should request a refund. I said Ok, give me a refund. They said I have to use the app. There was never any acknowledgement that "the app" is part of their operation just as much as their employees, and the money goes into their bank account. Treated me like a threat, not a customer. Provided no suggestions to make the situation right. There were two big bags of bagels, apparently the days leftovers, sitting bagged on the counter and a guy apparently about to take them away. I waited until the day after Christmas to call and talk to the manager about this and there was no way to get to a person. The message said to use the web and the app. UPDATE: After going to the contact-us site and providing details of my issue I received a "sorry to hear about this!" email response and instructions for the steps I should take if I wanted a refund. Really. Good to know that Bruegger's is sorry and that they're happy to pay me back--for reserved bagels they didn't provide!--as long as I follow their policies and procedures.

I don't leave bad reviews and I hope this one isn't seen as bad, but I have been thibking about my experience for 3 days and finally decided to leave a review. I'm new to the Cathedral Hill neighborhood and was chatting with my daughter while driving through the area on my way back home. I asked my college kid what she wanted me to pick up for her, as she was coming home for X-mas and ahe said Bagels. Then, a block later, I saw your Bruegger's! How fortuitous, right? I went in, noticing, it was huge, dark and empty, and the clerk asked what I wanted. He was standing in front of the register. Odd because all the ones I've been to handle your checkout first to make aure they gdt what yiu want right. I told him I wanted sandwich and a dozen bagels and he rang them up, then went to fill my order. Not only did he get a few of my bagels wrong, he out them all in a single huge box. Garlic, everything, plain, asiago, etc, all in thr same container. This should NEVER HAPPEN. All heavily spiced bagels should go in a seperate bag. Instead, half of the spices were in the bottom of the box, while 1/4 of the spices were stuck in the center of the plain ones and they can't be eaten with jam. If I'd wanted all savory bagels, I would have ordered all savory bagels and not tried for plain and raisin bagels (no raisins in the box, btw). So, yeah. I didnt get what I ordered that day and were stuck for days with a "variety" of bagels that pretty much all taste the same.
My sandwich was, however, delicious. 😀

One month ago, i wrote the following review. Well, it's gotten worse.
After requesting a refund through a very tedious and inefficient system, we still have not received a refund.
To make matters worse, the owner responded by pointing me right back into the "co tact us" system that doesnt work.
More than frustrated!
Do not order from here and expect timely service. They lose orders or simply decide to not fill them. Make an order for 830am and you might have it by 915am.. Do not order from here.
