I love Chipotle, but avoid the St. Cloud location near the university. This isn’t a onetime thing it’s a recurring experience. I used to be a regular here, and the service has consistently been bad and unfriendly.
Portions are terrible. You’re paying full price for what feels like a kids’ meal. Asking for extra rice feels awkward because they give it like they’re counting grains, and protein portions are treated like gold. The value is just not there.
One visit really stood out. A shift lead or person in charge was more focused on flirting with a woman in line laughing, chatting, and clearly giving her extra portions while I was the very next customer and got rushed, cold service, and noticeably smaller portions. I don’t care if someone gets extra food, but when service and portions change based on who you are, that’s outrageous.
Another incident sealed it for me. I was already late for work, waited patiently while the place was busy, and let them ring up customers ahead of me. When it was my turn to pay, the cashier ignored me and kept making other orders. I understood it was busy, so I stayed calm. I politely asked another employee who was literally doing nothing if he could take my payment so I could leave. I even told him I was late for work. He looked me straight in the eyes and said “NO” in front of everyone. No explanation. No apology. Just no.
Between the disrespectful staff, unfair treatment, and consistently bad portions, this location is outrageous. Do yourself a favor and go to another Chipotle in town.

Employees seemed rather impatient that we didn't rattle off exactly what we wanted the moment we walked in. It wasn't busy, we were the only ones in the restaurant at the time and we had only been there a few times in the last decade so it took a moment to figure out what we wanted. I could understand if they had a line and were busy, but considering no one else was in the restaurant frustrated me.

Ordered online tonight 12/17/25, got home and was very disappointed!! My guacamole was brown, not just the outside being brown but all of it absolutely gross, brown, and oily. I was told by the workers that it was “made that day”, and upper management told them to use it anyways, because it was “made that day”. I did go back and get a new burrito and guacamole, but whoever is managing this store needs to better! A LOT BETTER!!!
