I ordered the Italian Beef combo sandwich and specified that I wanted the sandwich dry, with hot peppers, oil, and the sauce on the side. When I got home, what I unwrapped was a big soggy mess covered in peppers. As I was hungry, and too tired to return to the restaurant, I attempted to eat the sandwich although it appeared quite unappetizing. All I could taste were hot peppers. I have a strong sense of taste, but that sandwich was so covered in peppers that no other flavor could be distinguished. I only managed two bites before discarding the rest. To say that I was disappointed would be an understatement. I could have made a much better sandwich at home. I would not recommend this restaurant, although the staff were very friendly and polite, the food was inedible to me.

The burger was just a burger nothing charbroiled about. Italian beef tasted like an Italian beef but it lack the necessity to do the Chicago lean. They put enough meat to coat the bun. Lacked the experience of a real Portillos. So sad.
