The rice was cold and tasted stale, and the chicken had an unexpected barbecue-like flavor instead of the usual seasoning. The mild pico was the only thing that tasted fresh. I also asked for just a small amount of sour cream and ended up with an overwhelming portion that threw everything off. Overall, it didn’t seem like the food was being kept at the proper temperature during my visit on April 11, 2026. Really disappointing experience—definitely not what I’m used to.

Unfortunately, my recent experience was disappointing. A simple chicken and rice bowl now costs around $16, yet the portion size has noticeably decreased. In addition to the higher prices and smaller portions, the overall food quality has declined. What was once a satisfying meal no longer feels worth the cost. To make matters worse, I was charged nearly $4 for a side of sauce that used to be complimentary. Overall, it’s disappointing to see such a significant drop in value compared to what this place once offered.

Dr Pepper flavor doing its weird little root-beer-adjacent magic. Not bad at all. Then I said it. “Thank you.” Without hesitation. Without fear. Without delay. “My pleasure.” And just like that, harmony returned. The cows grazed peacefully. The waffle fries regained their crisp destiny. The realm was stable once more. Shake was good. But the restoration of tradition? Even sweeter. 🐔
