I have been driving this place since they opened, I finally decided to give it a try, the MINNESOTA NICE chicken had a little bit of spice but it wasn't overbearing. I would definitely buy this again. Only warning I will give is that parking can be tight.

EXCELLENT!! Tenders are juicy. fries are home cut..everything is fresh..different heat levels, I prefer on the milder side but I'm sure they've got something you're going to like!! I will return!!

New favorite! Great from the get-go, as we were welcomed so warmly by Scott, who also listened as we muttered to ourselves looking over his head at the menu. And so, his suggestions were right on. We split the chicken and waffles by adding one more tender, making it two waffle wedges each. He split it up for us in the kitchen. It came out to about $20 or so, but complete with pickles, syrup, sauce, etc. So excellent! Perfect little dining room. Lots of great energy in here. (The spice level we chose was two at a milder "mini-coop," and two at a spicier "coop." 🤌Just right!

Tried this place out after a protest. I was so offended. The cashier farted or something because it stunk so bad. I wanted something to get my mind off of protesting about Trump, this only made me angrier with how gross it tasted. Never again.

I found Nashville Coop while searching restaurants in DC and had to try it, especially since they incorporate Ethiopian spices and I’m Ethiopian myself, so that caught my attention right away. The flavors are amazing. This isn’t your typical Popeye’s or Chick-fil-A the spice and seasoning actually stand out. You can really taste the berbere influence, even on the mac and cheese, which was a nice touch. I also like that they offer different spice levels, so you can go mild or really push it if you’re into heat. I went once by myself and liked it so much I brought my girlfriend back, and she loved it too. The chicken was flavorful, the waffle with syrup paired perfectly, and everything just hit. If you’re tired of basic fried chicken and want something with real flavor and spice, this is definitely a spot you need to try.
