I go to this dairy queen often, and not once have I had good service, or gotten my correct order. Tonight I went through the drive thru, there were only 5 cars ahead of me, and it took over 30 minutes just to get to the window. After I finally got to the window, I paid and waited for 5 or so minutes for my order, and then the lady, who was quite rude, handed me my incorrect drink. I ordered a medium strawberry kiwi freeze, and time, after time, after time, they give me a slushy, not a freeze. It is a very simple drink, and its extremely frustrating when the staff continuously makes it incorrectly. When I told the lady that I had ordered a freeze and not a slushy, she looked incredibly annoyed and grabbed the drink and left to the back without even a slight apology. Being someone who works in customer service, I know quite well that it is not difficult in anyway to apologize for your mistakes that affect the overall experience of a customer. After five more minutes, a different lady opens the window and tells me to pay an additional $2.50 for my drink. I told her that I already paid, and she said, "But, you ordered a freeze." So not only did I wait for a very long time just to receive the wrong drink, the lady made me pay $2.50 extra for the mistake that they made, with zero accountability. A few minutes later, they hand me my freeze, and I left very annoyed at every aspect of this trip to dairy queen, without ever receiving an apology. 1 star.
