We went on a Sat night. FYI COMPLIMENTARY VALET! THANK YOU!Delicious homemade meals and great portions so you don't have to go eat after! Very elegant, modern and fun atmosphere. Service was incredible. We had a gentleman server on the bar side, he was very attentive and humorous. The only thing that I didn't like was the music was soooo loud we had to almost yell at each other across the table. Otherwise great place! Well done S&F kitchen.

This place is amazing!!!!! We had a great time celebrating my birthday last night. Our waiter, Zack, took such good care of us, and the Wagyu Bichatini (sp?) was amazing! The music was just a bit loud, but loved the tunes and the atmosphere!! We will definitely be back! What made the experience even better was the complimentary valet service because as you may know, parking in the North Loop on a weekend can be interesting. We loved the whole experience!!!

Overall underwhelming. We have been here twice -- first time the food was good but service was slow. The second time though will be our last. Service was quite slow again -- we went most of the meal with no water, and were never asked if we'd like a second drink. Then, they brought out the wrong dish. When I mentioned that it was the wrong dish, he appeared skeptical that we didn't order what he brought. I'm fully confident we said what we remembered saying, because the dish they brought was not one we'd even considered. Mistakes happen though, no problem.
However then they asked if we wanted the wrong dish anyways, and said that they'd still remake the one we ordered and bring it out later. We agreed to that, and when they brought it back out the guy made a point of saying "this one is on the house." Um, obviously? Since we didn't order it? He acted like he was doing us a favor. We only agreed to take it so that my wife had something to eat rather than my dish sitting there getting cold while we waited for the new one.
Then they bring the bill and of course both dishes are on the bill. The server removed it at my request, but at no point during any of this did they apologize for the mistake. Hopefully the management of this restaurant knows that they need to compete (on both food and service) with a lot of great restaurants here.
